Available for download  are Microsoft Word files that comprise an electronic NAWTA Accreditation Application Packet. The packet was developed to ensure that all required components would be included by the institution seeking accreditation.

The format of the application has been standardized so the Accreditation Committee can easily evaluate submitted materials. An application fee of $25 (U.S. funds) must be sent to the current NAWTA Treasurer.

 

 

The NAWTA Accreditation Application Packet includes the following items:

    1. Program Recognition Standards
    2. Accreditation Policy
      Please make sure items 1-10 in Section II are included with your application materials.
    3. Accreditation Committee for current year
    4. Program Accreditation Worksheet
    5. Curriculum Summary Sheet (duplicate extras if needed)
    6. Supplemental Materials Summary
    7. Invoice for Application fee

Please feel free to add any additional clarifying materials to your application. It is important that a complete set of materials in a notebook format be sent to EACH member of the Accreditation Committee for review by the current year's application deadline.

In addition to the hard copies please send a CD containing all electronic files of your materials to the committee. Electronic copies of your college catalog or program brochures are not needed.

We are evaluating the best mechanism for submitting accreditation materials in the future and appreciate your cooperation in this endeavor.

Please organize these sections in the order listed above. A representative from your institution must attend the annual meeting to present an overview of your program and to answer any questions from the committee.
